About State io Wars
State io Wars is a compact map-conquest game in which territory is both the objective and the engine that powers your army. Each level begins with the player controlling a blue state, an enemy holding one or more red states, and several gray regions that belong to neither side. Every controlled area continually generates soldiers. By dragging from one state to another, you send part of that stored force across the map. If the arriving army meets or exceeds the number defending the destination, that territory changes hands and begins producing troops for its new owner.
The goal is to remove every red state before the opponent does the same to you. Neutral land is usually easier to capture, so the opening is a race for production as much as a fight. A player who claims several cheap gray regions gains more places that create soldiers, but expanding too quickly can leave the original state empty and exposed. The enemy acts at the same time, attacking neutral ground, reinforcing useful positions, and pushing into weak blue territory. Success comes from reading the numbers and deciding where a small advantage will have the largest effect.
Maps use connected shapes rather than free movement. That makes border states especially important: they become launch points for the next attack and shields for safer regions behind them. Sometimes the best move is to wait until a number grows; at other times, delaying lets the enemy seize a central junction. The colored progress bar at the top gives a quick sense of which side controls more of the map, but it cannot show whether those territories are secure. A wide empire with thin defenses can collapse surprisingly fast.
Winning levels awards coins that can be spent from the main menu. Upgrades improve troop production speed, the number of soldiers available at the start, and coin income. These bonuses help in later stages, but they do not replace sound decisions. State io Wars stays approachable because the only direct action is dragging troops, while the changing map creates constant tactical questions about timing, reinforcement, and risk.
How to Play
On a computer, press and hold the left mouse button on a blue state, drag toward a connected gray or red state, and release to send troops. On a phone or tablet, use the same press-and-drag gesture with the touchscreen. Blue states belong to you, gray states are neutral, and red states belong to the opponent.
Compare the number in your state with the number at the destination before attacking. Capture inexpensive neutral regions early to increase production, but keep enough soldiers near the enemy border to survive a counterattack. Reinforce a weak blue state by dragging troops to it from another blue state. To win, capture every red area on the map. After a victory, spend earned coins on production, starting-army, or reward upgrades from the main menu.
